How Do We Share in the Grace of Easter? (Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020)
"This year we might get the closest taste we’ve yet had to what that first Easter was like," went one Facebook post. We believe that Christ has risen victorious from death, but something feels wrong; in the midst of safe-at-home orders and pandemic fears, this muted Easter is an INCREDIBLE chance to deepen our Easter faith - and strengthen a part of Latin (Western) Christian theology: the role of the Holy Spirit.
This was a homily preached on Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord at Mass During the Day at the Church of the Incarnation of the University of Dallas.
