The Path Outside, the Journey Within (December 16, 2018).

During Advent, we hear a lot about John the Baptist telling people to do / not do a lot of things to prepare the way for the Lord. Preparing our lives externally is [obviously] fundamental, but there is something deeper about doing these things: actions shape who we are.

This was a homily given for the Third Sunday of Advent at the Church of the Incarnation at the 5:00 p.m. Mass.
