The Dirt of the Law and the Saliva of Grace (March 31, 2019)

Cleanliness is one of the highest virtues of our American / Western society: Jesus forming clay from his saliva and dirt should make us sit up and listen. These two elements combined can help us understand the importance of integrating two things we tend to oppose: the "law" and "grace."

This was a homily given for the Fourth Sunday of Lent at the Church of the Incarnation at the 11:00 a.m. Mass.
