There are countless reminders of Christmas: lights, songs, wreaths, bows, parties, special food, etc., etc. Is it too much? Too sappy? Unrealistic? It's unsurprising that some people reject the outward display of Christmas. Without becoming iconoclasts, both of these are occasions to examine what we're celebrating and how.
